ABOUT
I’m Merve Can, an artist based in Hamburg, currently studying Integrated Design at Hochschule für Künste Bremen. My background as a dancer shapes my work. I combine video, photography, and fashion with movement, exploring the relationship between body, space, and rhythm.
ABOUT FOOTNOTES
I joined the project as an artist and curator because I was drawn to the exchange and interplay between different disciplines. My contribution connects dance, video, and space. I approached Footnotes as traces, movements, and inscriptions within the urban environment.
ABOUT CONTEXT
I experience Bremen as an open, calm, and diverse city. Domshof is an exciting venue because it brings art directly into everyday life. I hope for a curious and open-minded audience that is willing to engage with new perspectives.
