Stadt der Tiere?
MINDFUL ENCOUNTERS sind eine Reihe von Tischgesprächen zu Themen, die den öffentlichen Raum betreffen.
DE: Tiere in der Stadt – ob Haus-, Nutz- oder Wildtiere – sind ein wichtiger Bestandteil des komplexen Zusammenspiels von Menschen, Architektur, Infrastruktur und Umwelt. Im Stadtbild und insbesondere in der Stadtplanung tauchen sie jedoch meist nur als Fußnote auf. Im Stadtleben sind sie meist nur in Form von Tierhaltern bewusst präsent oder machen sich durch Kot bemerkbar, in den man tritt oder der auf der neuen Jacke landet, wenn man sich durch den öffentlichen Raum bewegt. In meinem interaktiven Spaziergang möchte ich mit einem Frage- und Ratespiel unterschiedliche Perspektiven beleuchten und die Wahrnehmung der Tiere deutlicher hervorheben.
Mit einem kurzen, spielerischen Einblick in die Wahrnehmung und Fakten zum Thema „Tiere in der Stadt” möchte ich eine Erweiterung der Perspektiven des Stadtlebens bieten und auch die menschliche Perspektive spielerisch aufbrechen.
EN: Animals in the city – whether domestic, farm or wild – are an important part of the complex interplay between people, architecture, infrastructure and the environment. In the cityscape and especially in urban planning, however, they usually only appear as a footnote. In urban life, they are usually only consciously present in the form of animal owners or are noticeable through droppings that you step in or that land on your new jacket when you move through public space. In my interactive walk, I would like to use a question and guessing game to shed light on different perspectives and highlight the perception of animals more clearly.
With a short, playful insight into the perception and facts on the subject of “animals in the city”, I would like to offer an expansion of the perspectives of city life and also playfully break up the human perspective.
