Soul of Radiance conjures a luminous, ever-shifting figure that embodies transience, absence, and the subtle traces of lives lived at the margins. The work reflects on those whose presence in the city is often overlooked or erased, migrants, displaced individuals, and forgotten histories that quietly persist beneath the surface of urban life.
Through light and motion and the soundscape created by Franco Robert, the piece evokes a poetic sense of impermanence, offering a visual language for what resists containment or recognition. The glowing figure becomes both a memorial and a gesture of resistance, reclaiming visibility for those whose stories are seldom acknowledged. In this way, “Soul of Radiance”
transforms the space around it into a site of silent remembrance and quiet transformation.
The figure moves between presence and absence, appearing, dissolving, and reassembling in a continuous cycle, as if carried by breath or memory. It does not speak or act, but exists as a quiet pulse of light that invites viewers to project their own meanings onto its form. Lacking fixed narrative or identity, the figure becomes a reflection of what is forgotten, suppressed, or unseen within the urban landscape.
